What kind of church is Northwest Chapel?

We are a neighborhood community church that welcomes visitors from all backgrounds who gather to worship God and support and encourage one another on our spiritual journeys.

How do you get involved in our community? Nation? World?

We have several outreach programs, including local to Columbus and across the globe.

What ages does your children’s ministry serve?

We welcome infants through 4th grade in our children’s ministry, and students 5th through 12th grade have special programming through Route 56 and Anchor Student Ministries, respectively.

What kind of activities for students do you have?

We offer a variety of activities for all age groups. Our 5th & 6th grade students are welcome to be part of our Route 56 ministry, and those grades 7-12 can participate in Anchor Student Ministries. Both have opportunities for fun and fellowship as they seek to engage Jesus and others every day for eternal impact.

What security measures do you have for children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights? 

Every child attending Children’s Ministry is checked in through our safe, secure system, and only released to pre-approved individuals providing proper ID.

 

Who will assist my family on Sunday while we visit and evaluate your church?

As you enter the church, one of our friendly and helpful greeters will welcome you and direct you to Guest Central. Once there, we can share more about our church and, if applicable, help check-in your child(ren), or help you find a seat in the sanctuary.

What type of music do you play for services? What can I expect during service?

Our music is a blend of new praise songs and traditional hymns. Feel free to bring your coffee or beverage into the sanctuary as well.

Do I have to be a member to attend? What do I wear?

No, you do not have to be a member to attend. Additionally, there is no dress code -- wear what makes you comfortable.​
