Student Ministries

Here at Northwest Chapel, Anchor Student Ministries is available to students grades 7-12. Our desire is simple: for each of us to be anchored in Christ, while engaging Jesus and students everyday for eternal impact.

May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith; being rooted and established in love.

~ Ephesians 3:17

Anchor Student Ministries’ Outreach Week – July 14 – 17

We are so excited to come together, engage in service, and hang out! We’ll begin Tuesday evening, July 14 at 7 p.m. and will end around 5 p.m. on the 17th. Each day we’ll serve with one of three ministries and then each evening we’ll have fun activities we’ll do as a group. We’ll be providing 3 breakfast’s, 3 lunches, and dinner each evening. We’ll be going to some fun spots around the city and students will pay for those separately. For this “trip” we’ll be staying here at the church in the evenings. Students will bring air mattresses or sleeping bags and we’ll have 2 rooms for both the guys and girls so we can spread out properly. The sign-up link is HERE!

COVID-19 Season Update

We’re so encouraged to be able to meet in person again as of June 7; we’ve missed being together! We understand that some may not feel comfortable meeting in person yet, and that’s OK. We trust that no matter the distance or sickness in this unique season, wherever you are, there’s hope and healing in Jesus Christ.

We have entered Phase Two of regathering, which includes:

  1. Family worship services only
  2. In-person student classes and hang time on Wednesday nights
  3. No in-person Sunday morning classes
  4. Worship celebrations will continue to be available online on our website and YouTube channel by Sunday afternoon.

Girls’ Bible Study: Wednesdays 6-6:25 p.m.

This student-led Bible study meets directly prior to youth group; what a way to diver deeper into God’s Word and connect with peers.

Boys’ Bible Study: Wednesdays 6-6:25 p.m.
Male students are welcome to meet before youth group, a great way to connect with God and each other.

Wednesdays 6:30-8 p.m.
Hang Time/Discipleship – These two programs alternate throughout the year…

  • Hang Time is a great opportunity for students to connect with each other and invite friends, while eating free pizza and playing awesome games.
  • Discipleship is an opportunity for students to take a closer look at what it means to live for Christ in everyday life.

Typically at Northwest Chapel…

We offer Anchor Student Ministries programming for our 7th-12th graders on a weekly basis:

Sundays: 9:30-10:40 a.m. / Room 220

We meet upstairs for an interactive Bible study where students can dive into the timeless truth of God’s word in a way that relates to their lives.
