COVID-19 Season Update

We’re so encouraged to be able to meet in person again as of June 7; we’ve missed being together! We understand that some may not feel comfortable meeting in person yet, and that’s OK. We trust that no matter the distance or sickness in this unique season, wherever you are, there’s hope and healing in Jesus Christ

A few notes if you’re planning a visit to Northwest Chapel to worship with us in person Sundays at 9:30 or 11 a.m.:

We have entered Phase One of regathering, which includes:

  1. Family worship services only
  2. No children, student, or adult classes – these will continue online during Phase One — visit our Ways to Connect during COVID page for details. To receive Sunday school materials, please visit this page to learn more
  3. Worship celebrations will continue to be available online on our website and YouTube channel Sunday mornings

In order to give people options, the 9:30 a.m. celebration will be masks required (except those under 2 years of age) and the 11:00 hour will be masks optional. Masks will be provided for those who do not bring one.

We hope you will join us! We’ve been prayerfully planning how to structure our services to make them safe and welcoming for all. A few additional notes to keep in mind include:

  • The Chapel will close for cleaning between celebrations until 10:45 a.m.
  • We will encourage physical distancing
  • We plan to shorten services to under 60 minutes
  • Activity materials for children can be picked up in the lobby
  • We’ll spread out in the Chapel and overflow into the gym if necessary (closed circuit TV)

If you have questions or would like to talk with a Northwest Chapel staff member, please contact us here, or call 614-761-0363. If you’re planning to visit us, we look forward to meeting you!
