Northwest Chapel’s Response to the Coronavirus

Information updated as of Sept. 16, 2020

We’re currently in Phase Three of Reopening. While we’re so encouraged to be able to meet together, we understand some may not feel comfortable meeting in person yet, and that’s OK. We trust that whether you worship with us in person, or at home, wherever you are, there’s hope and healing in Jesus Christ.

Phase Three Includes:

  1. Family worship services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
    2. Limited children, Route 56, student and adult classes are meeting in person.
    3. 3. Children’s Ministry is currently only available at 9:30. Pre-registration is required
and classroom sizes are limited. Pre-register here.
    4. Worship celebrations will continue to be available online

Update regarding face coverings at both services: Face coverings are currently required at both the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services per state and local guidelines. We are following the state and local guidelines to protect the health of our beloved members. It is our hope that this will not deter you from joining us on Sunday as we desire to worship and connect with each of you in-person. (Masks will be provided if you do not have one.)

We will continue to share recorded sermons and create opportunities to connect online for those whose health or circumstances make it difficult to attend in-person. Even as we face trials and difficulties, we find our hope in Jesus Christ – our one true source of healing.

Other adjustments:

  • The Chapel will close for cleaning between celebrations until 10:45 a.m.
  • We will encourage physical distancing
  • Activity materials for children can be picked up in the lobby
  • We’ll spread out in the Chapel and overflow into Room 120 if necessary (closed circuit TV)

If you and yours choose not to attend at this time, we understand. We encourage you to worship with us online. Children’s lessons will be provided via email — simply contact Megan Hess to be added to the list.
