The Teachings of Jesus: The Beatitudes
By: Barlow
Series: E-100

In the world of men we find nothing approaching the virtues of which Jesus spoke in the opening words of the famous Sermon on the Mount.  Instead of poverty of spirit we find the rankest kind of pride; instead of mourners we find pleasure seekers; instead of meekness, arrogance…

Blessing does not necessarily mean that you’ll be happy and prosperous.  Happiness is often dependent on circumstances that vary.  In contrast, to be blessed is to know the deeper joy and contentment of God’s love and salvation.

Songs of Christmas Joy, pt. 2
    By: Barlow
The Gospel of Luke includes a series of original Christmas "songs." These songs are prophetic- not in the sense that they foretell the future- but in the sense that they proclaim God's work to humankind. God is going to fulfill His promise and send the Savior/Messiah.

Something is preventing you from pushing forward and living in faith, not by sight. This morning, Pastor Shannon Hollinger dives into Psalm 27 and shows us how we can be strong and courageous while we wait on the Lord.

    Jeremiah: The Weeping Prophet
    By: Barlow
The prophet in Old Testament Israel was a lonely man. He was a rugged individualist singled out by God for a painful task. He served as a prosecuting attorney of sorts, the appointed spokesman of the Supreme Judge of heaven and earth to bring suit against those who had sinned against the bench. This week, Pastor Rob Barlow introduces us to "Jeremiah, the weeping prophet."
