God Stories
Every person made in God’s image has a story to tell, all part of the greater narrative of God that began in the Garden. Here are some chapters from the lives of our Christian church family. Be encouraged— His story continues to be written, and you play an important role.
Bruce tells his story of receiving a diagnosis of brain cancer and how his faith has carried him. He explains, "I've only had about 15 bad minutes since my diagnosis. Why would I fear when, as it says in 2 Timothy, God gives us a spirit, not of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline?"
Gionatan grew up a pastor's kid in Italy. At 21, he went to the States to Bible College in WY. He didn't speak any English, but he completed four years. He's worked in ministry for over twelve years and now serves as the worship pastor for NWC. Hear his story of how God brought him and his family "home."
